Electrical Engineer Power Supply (80-100 %) Whether 5G antenna, data center or emergency control center – wherever the highest availability is required, our 48VDC power supply solutions ensure reliable operation. For our Bern location, we are looking for a committed individual who will accompany our rectifier modules throughout their entire product lifecycle and continuously develop them further. As part of the global Delta Electronics Group, a leading provider of energy and power electronics solutions, you will work closely with our R&D team as well as our manufacturing sites in Asia and ensure that our products continue to set new standards in quality, efficiency and reliability tomorrow. Your tasks You provide technical support for our rectifier modules (48VDC) throughout the entire product lifecycle and continuously develop them further You identify potential for improvement in efficiency, reliability, cost and manufacturability – and implement it You investigate field and manufacturing problems using root-cause analyses and derive sustainable measures from them You work closely with our manufacturing sites in Asia – from technical clarifications to quality and yield improvement initiatives on site You are the interface between R&D, product management, quality and production You contribute to technical documentation, specifications and test concepts You support certification and compliance topics (e.g. EN 62368-1, ETSI standards) What you bring with you Completed bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or very experienced electronics technician, ideally with a specialization in power electronics Experience with power supplies, rectifiers, DC/DC or AC/DC converters is an advantage A flair for product maintenance and continuous improvement – you only rest when a solution is truly running smoothly Initial experience / interest in working with Asian manufacturing sites as well as intercultural sensitivity Team spirit and enjoyment in working with interdisciplinary, international colleagues An analytical, structured way of thinking paired with a hands-on mentality Very good German and English skills Willingness to travel for occasional visits to our manufacturing sites What we offer you A position with real creative freedom and direct influence on products that are in use worldwide An international environment with short decision-making paths and a well-established team Modern work equipment and toolchain (including Altium, SolidWorks) Attractive employment conditions and development opportunities Flexible working hours and above-average social benefits Direct connection to public transport, parking spaces as well as fitness and catering options Interested?
