• Do you like starting your day early in the morning, being in the fresh air and bringing a smile to the faces of the people you meet? Then training in distribution is precisely what you need! During this three-year initial training, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to succeed in your entry into the diverse world of logistics. Your training location will be located in Sierre, Sion, Vétroz or Martigny. Your training • Early in the morning, you will ensure the sorting of letters and parcels which you will then load into your distribution vehicle to carry out your route. • You will take to the road with full autonomy to deliver and collect all kinds of shipments while being attentive to the requests of our clientele. • At the end of your working day, before enjoying a well-deserved rest, you will perform various complementary tasks at your training location. • Throughout your training, you will benefit from the supervision of professionals who will introduce you to your future profession and help you to perfect yourself. • In addition, with the financial support of la-Poste, you will either obtain the driving license for category-A1 motorcycles, or the driving license for category-B automobiles and you will learn to drive a forklift. • Assignments to different internal positions as well as to a warehouse service and individual support measures depending on your aspirations will complete your extensive logistics training. What you bring We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated young people who want to make things move. The conditions to be met are the following: • You enjoy physical activity and working outdoors. • Furthermore, you like contact with people and you are someone who is reliable, honest and discreet. • You intend to obtain the A1 or B learner's driving permit before the start of the apprenticeship. • You have completed your compulsory schooling. • At the start of the apprenticeship, you have a B2 language level in French.
