Control and Information Systems Engineer

Your contribution

• Assume daily responsibility for system monitoring, initial analyses, and coordination regarding the resolution of faults concerning critical infrastructure components
• Guarantee stable, safe, and sustainable operation of existing meteorological and information management systems, as well as specify and configure infrastructural components
• Constantly optimize operation through technical expertise and preventive measures
• Provide specialist advice to internal customers in the analysis and resolution of technical problems
• Represent operational interests throughout the entire project life cycle
• Availability to provide on-call services approximately one week every 5 weeks

What distinguishes you

• Complete specialist training (SSS/SUP or equivalent training); any academic degrees up to a master's are an advantage
• Several years of practical experience in system operation, ideally with particular focus on infrastructure and monitoring
• Solid skills in problem solving, escalation management, and assistance regarding information systems
• Ability to work independently and think analytically, as well as strong communication skills in relation to customers
• Knowledge of English is an advantage for technical documentation
