Dübendorf (and home office) | 80-100% (jobsharing possible) Your contribution • Manage at a conceptual level and guarantee at an operational level the full operability, resilience, and integrity of the airspace surveillance systems and employment conduct systems of the Swiss Air Force, including a radar system for aerial situation detection, an air situation information system, and a military and civil airspace management system • Assume responsibility for joint management, at personnel and technical levels, and the further development of interdisciplinary teams and specialists, considering demographic evolution, effective generational management, and the lasting preservation of knowledge in a technologically very complex and security-critical context • Be responsible for the further development and global optimization of the system landscape, based on scientific analysis and optimization procedures, with particular attention to availability, maintainability, efficiency, expandability, and proportionality • Guarantee the interoperability of integrated networks of complex and heterogeneous systems in national and international contexts, as well as take care of and promote the expansion and strengthening of collaboration networks between the actors involved • Support and contribute to defining conceptual planning, risk-based management, as well as the operational implementation and transformation of replacement and new generation systems <br /> What distinguishes you • University degree or from a university of applied sciences at master's level in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or computer science • Advanced training and solid experience in the airspace security sector and with the communication-navigation-surveillance systems cluster • Advanced training in the business administration sector (min. CAS, preferably MAS) • Proven experience in the conduct and further development of interdisciplinary teams in complex and cross-sectoral contexts • Proven experience in the replacement of complex and high-availability ICT systems • Good active knowledge in at least one second official language as well as excellent knowledge of English and passive knowledge in a third official language <br /> In summary The Cyber Command is responsible for the unlimited availability, in all situations, of the airspace surveillance systems and employment conduct systems of the Swiss Air Force that are critical for deployments.
