As Syntegon Technology Services AG in Beringen, we are the central service center of the Syntegon group. Our expert teams, consisting of approximately 200 employees, ensure maximum availability and performance of our facilities and systems worldwide - from inspection and maintenance to the rapid supply of spare parts and process optimization.

What awaits you:

In this position, you are responsible for the overall management of our application environments. These include both software development (automation) domains as well as version control. Typical examples would be Rockwell Automation, Copadata Zenon, Beckhoff TwinCAT or Perforce Helix Core.

• You ensure stable, efficient and user-friendly operation of applications by regularly installing and deploying updates and patches. This also includes the creation and maintenance of documentation.
• Furthermore, you act as a competent interlocutor for global level 2 support and work closely with internal departments, IT as well as external partners and service providers.
• You analyze requirements, develop technical solutions and independently implement modifications and optimizations to promote digitalization and the efficiency of engineering processes.
• In license management, you identify needs and derive strategic measures to optimize license usage and management.
• Finally, you manage a global structure of key users and establish common processes.

What you bring:

• You possess a degree in computer science, electrical engineering and automation or in a similar field. Alternatively, you have an equivalent professional training with relevant practical experience.
• You have experience in the management and administration of software applications, ideally in a technical/engineering environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks and virtualization.
• Mastery of version control systems (e.g. Git), fault analysis, troubleshooting and end-user support - in person and remotely.
• Solid knowledge in software distribution and automation, notably with PowerShell (Intune).
• You possess strong analytical skills as well as very good command of German and English.
• Your communication strength as well as a structured way of working with a high sense of service characterize you.
• Excellent command of German and English, both oral and written, completes your profile.
