In this key role, you actively shape the legal competence of WAS Luzern and make a significant contribution to the sustainable orientation of our organization. As part of the strategic realignment, the legal services of WAS Luzern will be bundled in one department to appear as a strong center of legal competence internally and externally. The focus of your activity lies in social insurance law. Additionally, you will work on issues in other legal areas such as data protection, public personnel law, and owner-related topics. Your tasks • You lead the legal department technically and personally, develop it strategically further, and are responsible for the direct management of three team leaders and the secretariat, as well as the indirect management of around 30 lawyers. • You ensure, together with your team, an efficient and high-quality processing of appeals and complaints. • You support and empower your employees in technical, organizational, and work process-related issues. • You actively shape the development and further development of the new department and promote a constructive, joint team culture. • You implement the strategy of WAS Luzern in your area of responsibility and continuously develop it further. • You advise the Services business unit management and the management in legal matters. Your competencies • You have a law degree with a lawyer's patent. • You have many years of leadership experience in a legal environment. • You convince through pronounced leadership and social skills, as well as assertiveness and a high results orientation. • You have experience in change processes and in the further development of organizations and teams. • You appear sovereign, think strategically, and recognize connections quickly. • You have a high affinity for process optimizations, digitalization, and efficient work.
