Early Childhood Educator

To complete our team at the Cucciolo nursery in Minusio, we are looking for a:

Early Childhood Educator – 60%-80%

Requirements:

• Educational qualification in the educational field (Social Work SUPSI, Early Childhood Educator SSS/EI or equivalent). In the case of a foreign qualification, SEFRI recognition is required.
• As a minimum requirement, an AFC certificate as OSA Infanzia is required
• Attitude towards teamwork, good relational and communication skills.
• Educational sensitivity, reliability and sense of responsibility.

Main tasks:

• Welcoming and taking care of children in the extracurricular context.
• Organization and implementation of educational, playful and recreational activities appropriate to the age.
• Accompanying children during routine moments (meals, hygiene, break times).
• Support for socialization, the development of autonomy and the emotional well-being of children.
• Collaboration with the educational team in the planning of activities and projects.
• Maintaining a calm, safe and structured climate.
• Collaboration and dialogue with families, respecting the service guidelines.

Employment details:

• Activity starting from 02.11.2026 with an open-ended contract
• Contract between 60% and 80%
• Working hours: from Monday to Friday: varies – facility opening hours from 7:00 to 19:00;
• Workplace: availability to transfer eventually also to other Cucciolo locations managed by Fondazione Zerosedici (Cucciolo Muralto / Gordevio / Locarno / Bellinzona / Brissago);
