The Schule Horbach, an institution of the Gemeinnützige Gesellschaft Zug, is a school recognized by the Canton of Zug with a focus on behavioral difficulties. We educate and care for around 70 children and young people in the primary stage as well as in the primary and secondary level I, who require individual support and teaching tailored to their needs. Our offer includes a day school with a daily structure as well as a weekly boarding school. The classes and groups are deliberately kept small and consist of seven to eight children and young people. We are looking for a Social Educator / Social Pedagogue Internat 80% immediately or by agreement Relationship work in everyday life - reliable, structured and effective Do you want to accompany children and young people in the boarding school not only in their daily life but also actively shape it and enable development? Do you take on responsibility, remain clear even in challenging situations, and build sustainable relationships? Then this could be your next position. Your tasks • Accompaniment and support of children and young people aged 7 to 16 in the structured boarding school everyday life. • Design of a development-promoting everyday life, leisure activities and transitions. • Taking over case management with a holistic view, coordinating goals and designing support processes. • Cooperation with parents, legal representatives as well as internal and external specialists. • Responsibility for group-related, organizational and household tasks. • Ensuring stability, orientation and a reliable environment in the group setting. • Willingness to night duty as well as occasional weekend services within the framework of the boarding school operation. Your qualifications • Completed training as a social pedagogue HF/FH or an equivalent recognized qualification. • Ideally, experience in the stationary sector with children or young people. • Systemic and solution-oriented thinking and acting as well as security in demanding situations. • Relationship strength, clarity in attitude and an appreciative approach. • Structured, independent and reliable way of working. • Teamwork, resilience and willingness to reflect. • Ideally, experience in practical guidance or interest in corresponding further development.
