APPRENTICE OPERATIONS AGENT CFC – ROADS DEPARTMENT
Your future training :
Within a human-sized team, you will learn to ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the communal public space. You will also contribute to the logistical support of other services as well as to the organization of the commune's events.
Your main activities :
ensuring the maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and public squares (mowing, pruning, weeding, snow removal, and winter salting) ;
participating in the sweeping, cleaning, and routine maintenance of the waste disposal center and its surroundings ;
carrying out small signaling works, floor painting, installation/removal of barriers ;
performing maintenance interventions: simple repairs (curbs, manholes), minor masonry ;
participating in works carried out in the carpentry workshop ;
participating in the organization of communal events (assembly, disassembly, cleanliness) ;
using and maintaining tools and machines while strictly respecting safety rules and the wearing of PPE.
Your profile :
you have completed your compulsory schooling ;
you like manual work outdoors, in all weather conditions ;
you have a sense of public service, team spirit, and you follow instructions reliably ;
you have good physical condition and are comfortable with tools and machines.
