Safety Officer Head of Maintenance (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

Technical and disciplinary management of the maintenance team with three employees
Ensuring high availability of machines and systems as well as development and maintenance of preventive maintenance plans
Further development of the maintenance strategy as well as definition of maintenance guidelines
Establishment, maintenance and monitoring of occupational safety structures
Planning and continuous optimization of the safety concept
Conducting hazard analyses, risk assessments and accident investigations as well as derivation, definition and implementation of suitable measures
Ensuring as well as conducting training and instructions in the field of occupational safety
Responsibility for the internal fire protection and emergency organization as well as their support
Examination and co-design of workplaces, work equipment and personal protective equipment
Advising the management, executives and employees on all matters of occupational safety and health protection
Planning and support of external audits as well as conducting safety inspections
Your experience:

Completed vocational training as a polymechanic or a comparable qualification in an industrial environment as well as several years of experience in the management of maintenance and as a safety officer
Successfully completed further training in the field of occupational safety and health protection (ASGS); a federal professional certificate as an ASGS specialist represents an additional advantage
A further qualification in the field of maintenance is an advantage
Pronounced technical know-how as well as a deep understanding of production processes
Sound knowledge of EKAS guidelines, VKF regulations as well as the labor law
Independent, structured way of working paired with high personal responsibility and assertiveness
Convincing appearance as well as clear and audience-appropriate communication on all hierarchy levels
Very good German skills in speaking and writing; English as well as other foreign languages are an advantage
High affinity for digital applications as well as proficient IT user knowledge
