Medical Practice Assistant wanted for a rural practice

For our client, a well-established village practice with a broad general medical spectrum in the rural Canton of Solothurn, we are looking for an engaged and independent personality as a Medical Practice Assistant (MPA) starting October 2026. The employment is primarily intended for holiday cover or as a substitute

Requirements Profile ##

• Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ
• Experience in a general practitioner's practice is an advantage
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
• Friendly and appreciative interaction with patients
• Ability to work in a team as well as flexibility, especially for holiday cover
• X-ray certificate is an advantage, but not mandatory

Tasks ##

• General administrative and organizational office work
• Patient reception and triage
• Appointment scheduling and telephone management
• Performing EKGs
• Inserting venous access / administering infusion therapies
• Blood collection and wound treatments
• Performing minor laboratory analyses
• Assistance with diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• X-ray imaging
