• IT - Software Engineering • St. Gallen • Contracting • Part-time, 80-100% • Immediately - 01.07.2028 • DevOps, Consulting Your tasks: • Setup, introduction and technical leadership of the DevOps process within a strategic program. • Development and implementation of a DevOps strategy including governance, standards and best practices. • Definition, establishment and continuous optimization of DevOps processes and working methods. • Conception, implementation and further development of modern CI/CD pipelines. • Automation of build, test, deployment and operating processes. • Introduction and further development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and other automation solutions. • Consulting and coaching of development, operations and project teams on DevOps principles and best practices. • Technical coordination of DevOps activities as well as promotion of collaboration between development, operations and architecture. • Ensuring quality, security and compliance requirements in the DevOps environment. • Analysis and continuous optimization of the DevOps landscape in terms of performance, stability and efficiency. • Evaluation and integration of suitable DevOps tools and technologies. • Promotion of knowledge sharing and sustainable anchoring of the DevOps culture. Your profile: • Completed degree or equivalent higher education in the field of computer science. • Several years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, DevOps Consultant or DevOps Lead in complex IT environments. • Proven experience in setting up and introducing DevOps processes and DevOps organizations. • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, for example with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. • In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with technologies such as Terraform or Ansible. • Experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms like Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift. • Practical experience with at least one public cloud platform (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud). • In-depth knowledge of automation of development, testing, deployment and operating processes. • Experience in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams as well as in agile methods like Scrum, Kanban or SAFe. • Ideally, knowledge of DevSecOps, GitOps, Observability, platform engineering as well as experience in change management and corresponding cloud or DevOps certifications.
