The Sonnenhof Arlesheim AG is one of the leading social enterprises in the areas of special education, living and day care with locations in Arlesheim and Basel. Around 300 children, adolescents and adults with cognitive, physical or multiple disabilities find a place of promotion, support and participation here. We are commissioned to appoint an entrepreneurial and innovative leadership personality as CEO, Chair of the Management Board with immediate effect or by agreement. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will bear overall responsibility for the value-oriented, economically sustainable and forward-looking management of the company with around 550 employees. Together with your colleagues in the Management Board, you will shape the strategic further development of Sonnenhof and create the conditions in which vision, mission statement and strategy are not only formulated but lived out in everyday life. You will combine the interests of internal and external stakeholders, prepare strategic decision-making bases for the Board of Directors and ensure transparent, binding and trustworthy communication. At the same time, you will ensure attractive working and employment conditions, promote a modern organizational culture and represent Sonnenhof competently vis-à-vis authorities, partners and in the socio-political environment. Your actions aim to secure stability and at the same time courageously shape the future – in the service of people with support needs. For this challenging task, you have a solid business administration education at university level (FH/Uni) with proven experience in the non-profit sector and/or a qualified degree in Social Work. Your profile is complemented by several years of experience in strategic and operational overall management. You think entrepreneurially and systemically, have in-depth financial knowledge and experience in organizational development and move safely in the cantonal environment. Personally, you convince through integrity, sense of responsibility and high social and communication skills. You are a committed, resilient and winning personality with a sense of structure, joy in networking and genuine interest in the quality of life of people with support needs.
