Your contribution

• Check the technical status and correct functioning of vehicles, trailers and/or stored material
• Autonomously guarantee the management of vehicle stocks and logistics in accordance with current regulations
• Actively participate in the delivery and return of systems and general troop material
• Independently manage orders and commissions with the SAP IT management system
• Work outdoors in any weather conditions

What distinguishes you

• Federal Certificate of Capacity (AFC) as a logistics assistant or equivalent qualification
• Good IT knowledge, in particular of the SAP management system
• Driving license categories B, BE, C, CE, F; possession of a forklift license is an advantage
• Ability and pleasure in taking on responsibility, team spirit and ease in relationships with colleagues and military personnel
• Flexibility with sometimes irregular hours and/or travel, sometimes on weekends
• Knowledge of at least one second official language

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistic services in favor of the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. In addition, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
