ICT Test Manager / Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

The role: You ensure the quality of two business-critical applications in the infrastructure operations of a large Swiss transport company: a platform that standardizes intervention and disturbance management across departments, and a GIS-based web application (esri) that visualizes and locates disturbances in the technical networks in real time on a map. In the agile team, you are responsible for the testing approach from planning to automation in the CI/CD pipeline. Your tasks: Independent creation of test specifications, test plans and test procedures; analysis of requirements and continuous optimization of tests; planning (Xray) and execution of software tests at different levels using specialized tools; creation of test cases and test flow diagrams as well as implementation of automated and execution of manual tests; expansion and maintenance of regression tests; construction and further development of CI/CD pipelines for test automation; enabling specialist departments to achieve an efficient testing approach; close exchange with specialist departments, BizDevOps Engineers, architects and Product Owners as well as knowledge transfer between teams. What you bring: ISTQB Foundation Level; at least 3 years of experience in test automation, in particular: REST interfaces (e.g. Bruno CLI), user interfaces with Cypress, Playwright and Selenium; at least 3 years of experience with agile test management tools; experience with system and end-to-end tests as well as functional acceptance tests - from analysis and design to implementation and execution to reporting; experience in interdisciplinary, agile teams; strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; enjoyment of constructive discussions with product teams from specialist departments, development and architecture; German business fluent in spoken and written language. Advantageous: ISTQB CT-TAE (Test Automation Engineer); experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, OpenShift, Git/Bitbucket and Docker; knowledge in static code analysis with SonarQube; experience with Atlassian Jira (Xray) and Confluence; experience in testing Kafka interfaces; practice-oriented use of AI Coding Assistants - with a view to cost efficiency, compliance, traceability and sustainable knowledge transfer; experience with Scrum or SAFe.
