Our client is an established aged care center with an attached Spitex, which is dedicated to the holistic care and nursing of residents. With a clear nursing mission statement and a committed interdisciplinary team, the company creates an environment in which individual needs are at the center. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a committed personality as a Department Manager.

Your tasks

• Leadership and promotion of the nursing staff in the team
• Creation of work and holiday schedules
• Implementation of employee appraisals and target agreements
• Coordination of the induction of new employees
• Ensuring correct nursing documentation
• Organization and coordination of department tasks
• Responsibility for medication and material ordering
• Recording of nursing needs and nursing problems
• Promotion of interdisciplinary cooperation in the facility
• Informing the Head of Nursing and Care about departmental events

Your profile

• Completed training as a nursing professional at tertiary level
• Completed further training in the field of team leadership
• Experience in professional and personnel leadership
• Competence in the organization and operational management of a department
• Cooperative, team-oriented way of working with leadership strength
• Good knowledge of nursing documentation and administration
• Ability for interdisciplinary cooperation and communication
