Social Worker with a focus on social assistance

The Regional Social Service Untere Emme is responsible for statutory social assistance, child and adult protection, as well as child support collection for the municipalities of Aefligen, Bätterkinden, Kernenried, Kirchberg, Lyssach, Rüdtligen-Alchenflüh, Rüti b. Lyssach, Utzenstorf, Wiler and Zielebach. The social service advises and supports the approximately 20-500 inhabitants with personal, financial and family problems. To expand our team, we are looking for an engaged and open-minded Social Worker with a focus on social assistance ## 60 - 80% permanent, immediately or by arrangement What are your areas of responsibility? You work in a polyvalent social service and take on tasks in the areas of social assistance as well as child and adult protection (KES). We are currently looking for a personality with a professional focus on statutory social assistance. You advise and accompany people in difficult life situations and understand social assistance as more than just the provision of economic support. You carefully clarify personal, social and economic circumstances, comprehensively check the statutory subsidiarity and ensure lawful, traceable case management. Together with the clients, you develop perspectives, agree on realistic goals and promote their social and professional integration. Depending on interest, suitability and organizational needs, there is also the possibility to take on tasks in child and adult protection and to develop further within our polyvalent social service. What should you bring with you? You have a degree in Social Work (FH or equivalent) as well as professional experience, preferably in statutory social assistance. Ideally, you bring further training in the field of social assistance law, social insurance law, administrative procedure or a comparable specialist field. We also welcome applications from experienced specialists who have acquired sound legal competencies in practice and/or are willing to undergo targeted further training in this area. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility and move confidently in the tension between social work actions and legal requirements.
