The Office of Corrections (AJV) Graubünden is a department of the Department of Justice, Security, and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. The AJV is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as the implementation of various types of detention. In Graubünden, the execution of sentences and measures is regulated as a unified subject area and holistic task, in which various professional groups work interdisciplinarily with convicted people to prevent further delinquency. The correctional facility (JVA) Cazis Tignez employs around 110 staff members and has 150 detention places in closed execution. Of these, 100 in normal execution, ten in the admission department, 28 in the special execution area, and twelve in pre-trial detention. We are looking for a master craftsman/-woman for the residential groups Admission and Pre-trial Detention as well as Age & Health, starting 1. November 2026 or by arrangement. Your area of responsibility Operational and organizational responsibility of the assigned workshops Leadership, care, and guidance of the admitted persons according to work agogic principles Suitability assessment; in particular of cognitive, manual, and creative skills Promotion of the admitted persons in their professional and social development Planning and development of comprehensive employment programs in the assigned workshops as well as ensuring a needs-oriented, meaningful daily structure for the admitted persons Conducting individual interviews with admitted persons (activation, motivation work, etc.) Organization of the production process including quality inspection Implementation and compliance with occupational safety Interdisciplinary cooperation with all areas of JVA Cazis Tignez What we want from you Completed training as a Work Agogist / Work Agogist with federal diploma Ideally, you bring professional experience from a similar work environment Motivated to guide and care for people in everyday correctional life according to work agogic principles, as well as interest in potential assessment in the manual/creative field Balanced, team-oriented, resilient, and flexible personality with high social competence Enjoyment of teamwork as well as interdisciplinary cooperation Good oral and written expression in German, as well as additional knowledge of cantonal and foreign languages is an advantage Driver's license Cat.
