For our customer, we are looking for a motivated Welder 100% (m/f/d) by arrangement

Job Description

• Execution of welding work on rail vehicles and their components
• Manufacture of weld joints according to the relevant standards and manufacturer specifications
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings within the scope of the welding work
• Consistent compliance with the specified welding instructions
• Independent preparation and organization of your own work
• Regular taking of the prescribed welder tests
• Support in upstream and downstream areas if required
• Ensuring high quality and compliance with applicable safety regulations

Desired Profile

• Training or several years of professional experience as a welder, plant and apparatus builder, metalworker or in a comparable profession
• Sound practical experience in welding
• Experience in the field of rail vehicles, vehicle construction or metal industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of the standards EN 15085 and EN ISO 3834 is an advantage
• Valid welder tests are an advantage
• Confident reading of technical drawings
• Independent, reliable and quality-conscious way of working
• Willingness to perform physically demanding work
• Flexible and polyvalent work attitude
• Good German language skills

Special Requirements for the Activity

The welding work is partially carried out under demanding physical conditions. These include, among others:

• Overhead welding
• Working in a kneeling position
• Working under the car body of rail vehicles

Corresponding physical resilience and mobility are therefore required.
