As part of succession planning, our client is looking for an entrepreneurial and action-oriented leadership personality with extensive financial expertise, in order to successfully lead the Finance & Control department and actively develop the corporate strategy.

The mission: ##

• You are responsible for the financial management and strategic planning of the group, including planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• You lead and develop the Finance organization and ensure collaboration with our client's international subsidiaries
• You are responsible for treasury, financing and capital structure as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with banks and financial partners
• You take charge of cross-functional topics in the areas of risk management, governance, compliance, taxation and transfer pricing as well as group financial audits according to IFRS, Swiss GAAP and the Swiss Code of Obligations
• You support merger & acquisition operations and strategic transactions from a financial perspective
• You guarantee a secure and efficient operation of IT and Legal services at the group level
• You act as a strategic financial partner for our client's other subsidiaries
• You ensure robust collaboration between Group Finance and the local finance organization jointly with the Finance Manager

Your profile: ##

• Degree in business administration as well as additional training in finance, accounting or a similar field, with corresponding professional experience
• At least 5 years of international experience in a comparable management position in the field of Finance & Control within an SME
• Pragmatic and communicative leadership style; team player with absolute integrity and a strong mentality of a thinking and executing partner. Active and practical participation in various projects and topics is expected
• Experience in international tax law and transfer pricing; support to local management during negotiations with unions and authorities
• An existing network and experience in the banking sector is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of Excel and common MS tools; experience with SAP, SAGE and IBM Cognos is a plus
• Experience in international trade, industry or the raw materials sector as well as experience with Africa is an advantage
• Ability to understand industrial production processes
• Excellent oral and written skills in German, English and French
• Availability for regular international business travel
