Our client operates in the industrial sector and offers a versatile portfolio of high-quality products as well as innovative solutions in the field of mechanical engineering and transport technology. 02 Your Task ## • Development and consistent implementation of sustainable procurement and supplier strategies to ensure a high-performance supply chain • Analysis of procurement markets as well as conducting economic assessments (e.g., make-or-buy) to create sound decision-making bases • Selection, evaluation and targeted further development of suppliers including ensuring quality standards and conducting audits • Independent negotiation of prices, conditions and contracts with the aim of concluding long-term and economically attractive agreements • Identification of savings potential as well as active management of risks (e.g., supply bottlenecks or dependencies) to ensure security of supply and efficiency 03 Benefits ## • Participation in external further training • Independent organization of daily business • Flat hierarchies • Flexible working hours • Guaranteed hybrid or home office work • International field of activity 04 Your Profile ## • Completed technical basic training in a mechanical profession (e.g., polymechanic or comparable) as a solid basis • Further training in the area of purchasing, supply chain management or business administration is an advantage • Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing of technical components in an industrial environment, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering • Proficient use of ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA) as well as confident communication in German and English; further language skills are an advantage • Readiness for international travel (approx. 10-20%) 05 Things to know ## • 40 hour week • Flexible working time model • Home office possibility • Flat hierarchies • International field of activity
