Your missions • Ensure comprehensive medical care of high quality for patients in an internal medicine unit, directly in 2nd line, or in 3rd line with a clinic head upstream • Clinical supervision and training of clinic heads, assistant physicians and interns in the department • Engage in process improvement projects and patient care • Ensure a supportive environment for colleagues and demonstrate exemplary behavior • Assist the head of department in service and department activities • Collaborate with all other medical specialists as well as all external consultants in the department Your profile • Swiss medical degree or equivalent title with Mebeko recognition • Specialist title in internal medicine (FMH or equivalent) • Experience as a clinic head or deputy physician in a university setting • In-depth competence in hospital internal medicine • Knowledge and experience in a continuous care unit or intermediate care unit, or even in an intensive care unit, an asset • Diplomas and titles registered in the medical professions register (MedReg) • French language level B2, certified Your skills • Commitment, adaptability and sense of responsibility • Medical knowledge ensuring high-quality care for all internal medicine patients, including multi-morbid patients and patients in continuous or intermediate care units • Leadership skills and exemplary behavior as a physician • Constructive communication with different medical and healthcare professions • Autonomy, decision-making and implementation capacity • Pedagogical skills in teaching and supervising interns, assistant physicians and clinic heads Additional information Lieu de travail : site de La Chaux-de-Fonds Entry into function : immediately or by agreement Type of contract with indefinite duration Attractive framework and working conditions governed by the Collective Labor Agreement (CCT) of the medical executives of the Neuchâtel Hospital Network Information : Pr Hervé Zender, Head Physician of the Medicine Department, +41 79 559 52 84 Complete applications (motivation letter, Curriculum Vitae, diplomas, work certificates) are to be sent to us until July 31, 2026
