At l-ARBES-Lädali vu da PDGR in Coire, we train CFC florist apprentices. l-ARBES is the sheltered workshop of PDGR and offers, in its retail shop and its nursery, protected jobs for people with psychological disabilities. You acquire your professional, methodological, social and personal skills by creating floral works, by collaborating with people with psychological disabilities and during daily contact with customers in the shop. Thanks to the adjacent ARBES nursery, you benefit from an overview of plant and flower cultivation. Key points of your training Your apprenticeship duration is 3 years and takes place across three fields of learning: • Mandatory school training takes place one day per week. For this course, you attend the Centre professionnel et de formation continue Rorschach-Rhétie (BZR). • Intercompany courses (CI) support your learning success by transmitting basic and industry-specific skills. • Professional practical training takes place at l-ARBES-Lädali vu da PDGR in Coire. During the basic professional training, you have five weeks of vacation per year. You can also take the higher professional examination to become a certified master florist. It is also possible to follow a shortened basic training as a gardener in potted plants and cut flowers CFC or landscaper CFC. The higher school offers you the possibility of continuing education to become a certified colorist ES. You can also choose the higher professional training of creator in crafts CFC or fashion designer CFC. At the University of Applied Sciences, in the professional field Nature, the Bachelor of Science (HES) in environmental engineering, in agronomy, in landscape architecture as well as in the professional field Design, the Bachelor of Arts (HES) in interior architecture or in product and industrial design are training possibilities. Selection procedure After reviewing your application, you will be informed of the selection decision. If you are preselected, the training manager organizes an application interview and selection days. These days give you an overview of daily professional life and allow us to get to know each other better. The selection days are organized by us and take place at l-ARBES-Lädali in Coire. The hiring decision is made by at least two people, generally the training manager and the head of l-ARBES. Your advantages at a glance We offer you professional training adapted to your needs. At PDGR, we in principle train all apprentices at the Federal Certificate of Competency (CFC) level. Training for the Federal Certificate of Vocational Education (CFP) is possible depending on conditions and in certain trades after agreement with the Training department. We support you if you wish to take the professional maturity (MP) during your apprenticeship. Inform us of your interest during your application. As a high-performance athlete, we allow you, after agreement with the Office of Vocational Training and your sports association / club, special apprenticeship conditions for an ideal combination between professional training and high-performance sport.
