The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrischen Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the expanded basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie under the nursing management of Herr Sven Lang, Rufin Motzer is looking for a dipl. Pflegefachperson in the field of Gerontopsychiatrie as of 01.10.2026 or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for ensuring as well as implementing high-quality nursing and care of the patients
• Planning and evaluating the nursing care of the patients
• Implementation and design of group offers as well as planning and implementation of individual conversations
• Co-shaping of daily group life
• Maintaining contact with external reference persons

Your profile

• Completed training as Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF
• Experience in long-term care is an advantage
• Flexibility and interest in reinforcing the teams on various wards during shortages
• Interest in collaborating in an interprofessional treatment team
• Readiness for shift work in a 24-hour operation
• Enjoyment of situations that are sometimes not predictable
