Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad AG is one of the largest mountain railway companies in the Berner Oberland. In addition to the railway systems and ski slopes, it operates four of its own mountain houses and employs around 450 staff in winter and 250 in summer. The eventful mountain summer is just as much a focus for the company as the enjoyable and diverse ski area. SNOWMAKING EMPLOYEE (100%) (m/f/d) In the midst of the breathtaking mountain world of the Berner Oberland, you will ensure that our guests can enjoy perfect slope conditions from Horneggli to Rinderberg – from the first turn to the season finale. Tasks: • Operating and monitoring the snowmaking systems, including snow producers, pump stations, and control systems • Maintenance and upkeep of the technical systems, including repairs • Control and optimization of snow quality to ensure safe and uniform slope conditions Profile: • Completed manual/craft vocational training, ideally with an electrotechnical background • Experience in snowmaking and the operation of snow systems • Good skiing skills and enthusiasm for working in alpine terrain • Willingness to work flexible hours, including at night and on weekends during the winter season What we offer: • A responsible position in one of the most beautiful mountain areas in Switzerland • A motivated and collegial team • Attractive employment conditions • Free ski pass to our region and many other benefits We look forward to your application!
