What you can contribute

• Develop service planning, the military call-up schedule or poster, etc.
• Guarantee optimal use of the Operations Command (cdmt Op) infrastructures; plan, verify and evaluate the occupation of real estate
• Support the development of directives concerning availability at the army level and coordinate their implementation within the cdmt Op; perform feasibility checks in the field of availability
• Maintain the situational picture of infrastructures in your own area and guarantee delivery on time
• Write position papers; handle questions from military and civilian environments relating to infrastructure and service planning within the cdmt Op

What makes you unique

• Commercial training or a degree from a technical college and two or three years of professional experience in a similar role
• Experience in project management and/or collaboration on projects
• Very good IT skills as well as MS Office suite
• Strong sense of organization and negotiation; very good writing skills; autonomous working method, sense of responsibility and service
• Senior officer or company commander instruction, good knowledge of a second official language

The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and all military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes notably the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the Special Forces Command as well as the Military Police. About 40 % of the approximately 2500 employees are employed in the civilian sector, from engineers to analysts to aircraft mechanics.

The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
