The non-profit, internationally active association «Kinderhilfe Bethlehem» is based in the heart of Luzern. As its central project, it operates the Kinderspital Bethlehem (Caritas Baby Hospital), which is the only hospital specialized in pediatrics in the West Bank. Additionally, the association supports selected projects to empower children, adolescents, and women in the region. To complement the well-established team, we are commissioned to find a winning and reliable personality as a Fundraiser: Institutional Fundraising & Major Donor In this position, you are responsible for the acquisition and sustainable cultivation of institutional funding partners such as foundations, companies, and public institutions, as well as major donors. You identify potential donors, develop targeted approach and relationship strategies, formulate convincing funding requests, and undertake personal relationship management throughout the entire funding cycle. You will care for and maintain existing relationships with foundations, institutions, and private individuals with great joy and trust. Together with the team, you will contribute to the further development of the fundraising strategy and develop new concepts and ideas. You have a university degree (FH/Uni) and a successful track record in fundraising, ideally in the environment of an NPO or foundation. High initiative, an independent way of working, as well as strong communication and networking skills characterize you. You have a pronounced ability to build and maintain relationships. Discretion and integrity are a matter of course for you, as is a high identification with the mission and values of the organization. Furthermore, you value teamwork, think entrepreneurially, work goal-oriented, and formulate with stylistic confidence in German, English, and Swiss (Italian an advantage). Proficient use of M365 and CRM systems completes your profile.
