Mechanic for chuck overhaul

Your responsibilities: ###

• Analysis of chucks and collets using measuring instruments
• Inspection of collet cones, spindle seats, closing cams, and bearings
• Disassembly of clamping elements
• Identification and replacement of wear parts
• Reassembly of assemblies in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations
• Adjustment of pressure and clamping stroke
• Positioning and centering of chucks relative to the spindle axis
• No-load and load tests, with inspection of a batch of test parts

Your profile: ###

• CFC in production mechanics / polymechanic, micromechanic or training deemed equivalent
• Experience in automatic turning is a major asset
• Solid mastery of metrology and precision measuring instruments
• Good knowledge of precision mechanics and clamping systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings as well as the manufacturer's technical documentation
• Strong sense of organization, particularly to limit machine downtime
• Rigorous person, with attention to detail and concern for precision
