Your tasks

• Responsibility for the technical and organizational management of the financial accounting including all subsidiary ledgers
• Leadership and further development of the five-member Finance team
• Ensuring professional annual financial statements and budget preparation
• Responsibility for liquidity and financial planning
• Technical advice and support for employees as well as political bodies
• Creation of evaluations and analyses as well as further development and review of processes within the framework of the internal control system (IKS)
• Ensuring an efficient and reliable accounts payable workflow including organization and continuous optimization
• Creation of periodic statements and statistics, particularly in the area of value-added tax as well as road and financial statistics for the Confederation
• Support of external bodies as well as support in the operation of the accounting program
• Active participation in specialist groups and projects

Your profile

• Completed education and further training in the finance sector, ideally at the Federal Diploma of Higher Education level
• Sound knowledge in payroll accounting, experience with real estate capital gains tax is an advantage
• Leadership experience and strong social competence as well as a positive and appreciative personality
• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking and a solution-oriented way of working as well as the ability to set clear priorities and maintain an overview
• Enjoyment of service-oriented cooperation and working in a team
• Structured, independent and exact way of working as well as quick comprehension and networked thinking
• IT affinity with excellent knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Abacus, knowledge of accounting according to HRM2 is an advantage
