Romanshorn is the sixth largest city in the Canton of Thurgau. It is located directly on the idyllic Lake Constance and has around 12'000 inhabitants. The 90 employees in the administration and the branch offices provide comprehensive customer-oriented services.

As an reinforcement for our team in the Social Services, we are looking for immediately or by agreement a

Clerk Social Services (40 %) ##

You are a service- and team-oriented personality, appreciate telephone and personal contact with different stakeholders and complete administrative tasks reliably and with pleasure.

Your area of responsibility

• Administrative support for the social workers
• Contact person for service providers and health insurance companies as well as other external agencies
• Processing and handling of social insurance law matters
• Cooperation at the Front Desk of the Social Services as well as management of the counter and telephone service

What you bring with you

• Completed commercial training, preferably in a public administration
• Knowledge of social insurance law / KVG
• High resilience and ability to set boundaries in hectic situations
• Empathy and skill in dealing with residents and authorities / offices / institutions
• Experience with the specialist application Tutoris is an advantage
• Confident German skills and proficiency in written expression, other foreign languages are an advantage
