Creation of precise demand forecasts through the analysis of historical data, market trends, and customer requirements. Close cooperation with internal departments such as production, purchasing, and sales to coordinate demand and capacity planning. Identification of risks and opportunities within the supply chain as well as development and implementation of suitable measures. Optimization of inventory levels, material flows, and transport capacities based on reliable forecasts. Monitoring of relevant supply chain metrics as well as identification and implementation of improvement potentials. Creation of meaningful reports, analyses, and management presentations regarding demand and logistics development. Application and further development of demand planning tools as well as digital planning systems to increase transparency and efficiency. Continuous improvement of demand management processes considering best practices and lean methods. Your profile: Successfully completed studies in the field of logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a comparable discipline. Several years of professional experience in demand management, ideally in a manufacturing industrial company or a comparable logistics environment. Sound knowledge in demand planning, forecasting, as well as supply chain management and inventory optimization. Confident handling of ERP systems (especially SAP) as well as common demand planning and analysis software. Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high understanding of numbers. Strong communication skills and confident appearance in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders. Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form. Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong teamwork skills and a hands-on mentality.
