For an established and non-profit building cooperative with over 500 apartments in the city of Zürich, we are looking for a committed and entrepreneurially minded personality as

Head of Office of a building cooperative (90 – 100 %)

Start: 1. March 2027 or by arrangement

Your task

You lead the office, which currently has three employees, and ensure that operational management and strategic development work together effectively. In doing so, you work closely with the board and actively help shape the future of the cooperative.

Your most important tasks include:

• Leadership and further development of the office and the team
• Preparation of board business and implementation of resolutions
• Responsibility for finance, controlling, as well as financial and liquidity planning
• Development of decision-making bases for strategic issues
• Leadership and support of organizational and digitalization projects
• Maintenance of a sustainable network with partners, authorities, and institutions

Your profile

You combine business administration know-how with leadership competence and a sense for people and organizations.

You bring with you:

• Several years of leadership and professional experience with overall responsibility
• Commercial or business administration training, ideally supplemented by further training in the finance sector
• Sound knowledge in financial planning, accounting, and controlling
• Strategic thinking as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High social competence, communication strength, and reliability
• Enjoyment in driving developments and shaping change processes
• Knowledge of non-profit housing construction is welcome, but not a must.
