Do you appreciate a GMP-regulated environment, work autonomously, and take responsibility for the quality of raw materials and medicines? For an established Swiss pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a committed person to strengthen the quality control team. The position is initially temporary with excellent long-term employment prospects or a permanent contract. Your tasks • Carrying out quality control analyses on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products according to current monographs • Carrying out release analyses and in-process controls (IPC) • Analyses by HPLC, GC, thin-layer chromatography (TLC), UV/VIS as well as by classical wet chemistry methods • Determination of ethanol content, density, and dry matter content • Sampling of raw materials and packaging materials • Documentation and evaluation of analyses according to GMP requirements • Participation in the monitoring of measuring instruments and the qualification of equipment • Organization of the shipment of samples to external laboratories as well as management of reserve samples Your profile • CFC, CTA chemical laboratory technician training or equivalent training • Professional experience in an analytical laboratory, ideally in a GMP-regulated environment • Experience with chromatographic methods such as HPLC and GC; knowledge of TLC is an advantage • Structured, reliable, and quality-conscious way of working • Taste for a versatile laboratory function and for working in a small team • Good command of German, both spoken and written • Knowledge of MS Office; experience with MS Access or a LIMS system is an advantage What awaits you • A varied activity in a modern quality control laboratory • A wide range of analytical methods and a diversity of products • A collegial team with short decision-making processes and great autonomy • The possibility to further develop your GMP skills and to progress professionally • A temporary job with an attractive prospect of extension or a permanent contract
