We at Spitex Uster, a business area of the city of Uster, are looking for committed colleagues who want to work together with us to ensure and advance outpatient care, support, and assistance for approximately 40’500 inhabitants in the city of Uster and the municipality of Mönchaltorf.

Our range of services includes both somatic and psychiatric care, counseling, domestic help, and care, as well as the Spitex-Shop. Additionally, we are a training and internship site and a member of the Ausbildungskooperation Gesundheitsmeile Uster. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of our clients through professional, caring, and individual care, support, and assistance in the household. With our help, clients can remain in their familiar environment or return home earlier after an inpatient stay.

Spitex – Healthcare Specialist or Care Specialist EFZ for the Dementia Team 60 - 100%

Your main tasks

• Implementation of the nursing process and close cooperation with the case managers
• Resource- and relationship-oriented care and support of clients with dementia-related illnesses
• Observing, recognizing, and acting professionally in the event of changes in the behavior and condition of clients
• Precise, electronic documentation of services and observations
• Contributing ideas, experience, and expertise in the development of a new offering in the area of dementia
• Interdisciplinary cooperation

What you bring with you

• Completed EFZ training as FaGe/FaBe (with completed further training in treatment care)
• Experience in the care and support of people with dementia
• High social and communicative competence as well as patience and empathy
• Independent, responsible, and reflective way of working
• Digital fitness for daily electronic administration
• Good oral and written German skills
• Optional own car (kilometer compensation by Spitex) or driver's license category B, alternatively E-bikes are available
