Team Leader of the dietary service / at 80% (to be agreed, flexible) / in CDM (8 months)

The nutrition and dietary center's mission is to contribute to the home maintenance of the Geneva population by promoting its nutritional health. It consists of two complementary services: the nutrition service (home meal delivery) and the dietary service.

The dietary service is composed of a team of dietitians and an administrative assistant who intervene throughout the canton of Geneva. They perform dietary consultations at home upon medical prescription, and actions in prevention / health promotion. They also supervise the IMAD meal offer and quality.

As part of the replacement during the maternity leave of the current holder, reporting to the director of the nutrition and dietary center, the head of the dietary service will assume responsibility for the dietary service.

Your missions and responsibilities

• As interim team leader of the dietary service, you ensure the direction, coordination, and supervision of the activities of the dietitians as well as the administrative assistant of the service. You ensure the evaluation, adequacy, and quality of the services provided to beneficiaries, the monitoring of interventions, and the associated billing, upon delegation from the director of the Nutrition and Dietary Center. You guarantee human resources management in accordance with institutional policies and the legal framework in force.
• You promote coordination with care teams and partners of the health-social network in order to strengthen the prevention, detection, evaluation, and monitoring of risks related to nutritional health. You contribute to the continuous development of skills, the promotion, and the influence of home dietary expertise, in collaboration with the relevant internal actors. You work in close collaboration with the managers of the nutrition service to ensure the consistency and continuous improvement of the services of the Nutrition and Dietary Center, while participating in the implementation of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in nutrition and dietetics or training deemed equivalent
• Previous managerial experience is a serious asset
• Good knowledge of the Geneva network
• Cantonal right of practice
• Certificate of two years of practical activity at 100% under the responsibility of an admitted dietitian (art. 50a, al. 1, let. b of the OAMal) – an asset
• Proven experience in clinical nutrition, with the elderly and/or chronically ill is an asset
• Experience in project management
• Good conceptual and writing analysis capacity
• Committed and motivated person
• Interpersonal ease
• IT ease and good administrative management
