Introduction to the company ##

Universo SA is a member company of the Swatch Group, a world leader in watchmaking, whose know-how and experience have made it the reference for Swiss Made watchmaking since more than a century ago. The company is also a major player in the fields of dial applications and hesallite watch crystals.

As part of the development of our activities within our Tool Assembly department, we are looking for a Die Maker (M/F).

Job description ##

• Mount and adjust "high-end" cutting dies
• Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of the dies
• Participate in the development and fine-tuning of new tools
• Work in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
• Analyze and be proactive in order to compensate for the contingencies of tooling in production

Profile ##

• Holder of a CFC in Micromechanics (or a title deemed equivalent)
• Minimum of five years experience, in a position as a watch die maker mechanic (cutting tools to follow, Swiss tools) for the production by cutting of high-precision parts
• Mastery of machine tools (lathe, milling machine, planer)
