Head Nurse of Care Unit at 80-100%

Our surgery department offers a technical range and cutting-edge services in various surgical disciplines at the Pourtalès (Neuchâtel) and Chaux-de-Fonds sites in both hospital and outpatient settings Your missions: • Lead and supervise a team of about thirty collaborators • Manage and coordinate the organization of nursing care in a 24-bed unit including general surgery, visceral, thoracic, and ORL beds. • Ensure efficient patient care and quality of care in accordance with current protocols and recommendations • Ensure the application of professional ethics principles and the dissemination of care values • Functional supervision of teams, support for new arrivals, and ensuring skill development within the service (continuing education) • Organize the unit in an optimal manner in collaboration with various partners • Implement departmental objectives and ensure follow-up Your profile: • Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing or equivalent title recognized by the Swiss Red Cross • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an acute care unit • Management training, proximity management, or willingness to follow training • Team management experience, an asset Your skills: • Ability to lead, manage, and unite a team • Sense of responsibility and natural leadership • Relational skills in communication and conflict management • Teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration • Sense of priorities, ability to manage the unexpected, and stress • Be a proposals force, flexible, and available • Knowledge of usual software a plus (Outlook, Carefolio, POLYPOINT, Opale) Additional information: • Workplace: Pourtalès site in Neuchâtel, surgery unit 3 • Entry into function: as of September 1st or to be agreed upon in an indefinite-term contract • Information: Madame Marie-Laure Jacquot-Pegeot, Head Nurse of Department, +41 79 559 50 55 • An internal application is strongly encouraged
