The zentrale stationäre Disposition ensures efficient coordination of all predictable patient admissions, operations, and pre-stationary examinations. As a central hub, it connects doctors, nursing professionals, and patients and ensures a smooth process. The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees are committed daily to the well-being of our patients. ### Your main tasks • Organization and coordination of inpatient patient admissions • Independent and responsible determination of admission and surgical dates (reservation of OR and bed at the department level) • Ensuring transparency within the dispatch tool KISIM • Planning and coordination of outpatient procedures, interventions, and pre-stationary diagnostics • Surgical planning of inpatient, semi-inpatient, and also outpatient procedures at USZ and Circle • In case of bottlenecks (beds, OR, staff) decision in consultation with the doctors responsible for the area regarding the priority of patients to be summoned and postponement of these if necessary • Contact person for doctors, nursing staff, patient administration, and reception as well as for patients regarding questions about admission procedures and stay • Contact person and information transmission (elective appointments etc.) to patient administration, intensive care units, ward stations, polyclinics and other external branches such as Kinderspital, insurance providers, GPs and other referrers Your profile You... • ...have a basic medical training with knowledge within dispatching and/or several years of experience in the area of administration within the hospital sector? • ...possess high social competence and are characterized by strong communication and teamwork skills? • ...have excellent organizational talent and look forward to actively helping to shape your area of work? • ...value goal-oriented, multi-professional cooperation and enjoy a demanding operation?
