For the further development of the Valais hydropower portfolio, FMV is looking for an Asset Manager 80-100% immediately or by arrangement. In this function, you will work in the Asset Management area of the Production department. Your Mission Your task is to actively contribute to the implementation of the company's strategic goals as well as to the further development of FMV's portfolio of hydropower plants and renewable energies. In doing so, you will manage central dossiers such as the exercise of reversion rights, new concessions, and expansion projects with a structured, binding, and long-term oriented approach. You will lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and ensure effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders, especially with authorities, municipalities, partner companies, and specialized contractors. Your commitment is in line with the strategic objectives of the Canton of Valais and contributes to optimizing the production potential and regional value creation in the field of renewable energies for the benefit of the Valais community. Your Profile University degree in engineering, energy economics, or a comparable field, ideally supplemented by good business administration knowledge Several years of experience in the energy industry in Switzerland, preferably in the field of renewable energies or hydropower infrastructure Proven experience in stakeholder management Sound experience in leading multidisciplinary projects as well as in the coordination of mandate holders, ideally in the role of client/owner Strong interest in overarching topics such as politics, environment, energy management as well as economic and legal issues Dynamic and flexible personality with the motivation to work in a constantly changing environment Ability to work both independently and in interdisciplinary project teams German or French native speaker with very good knowledge of the respective other language (level B2-C1) as well as good English skills Why work with us?
