Team Leader Network Rail Vehicles

You will assume the technical, disciplinary, and organizational leadership of a team responsible for network and communication solutions for rail vehicles. In doing so, you will help shape the strategic further development of the technologies used and partnerships.

Tasks

• Technical, disciplinary, and organizational overall responsibility for the team
• Schedule and resource planning
• Overall responsibility for network, vehicle-to-ground communication solutions, and Security Gateway
• Strategic further development of used solutions, technologies, and services
• Responsibility for strategic partnerships
• Responsibility for network concepts
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with other engineering departments

Profile

• Higher technical education (FH/ETH/Uni) in telecommunications or computer science
• Several years of experience in the field of networks and IT systems
• Sound knowledge in the planning, implementation, and operation of network infrastructures
• Leadership experience and confident handling at all hierarchical levels
• Initiative, determination, and assertiveness
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
