Automation Software Engineer

Your tasks and responsibilities • You develop, simulate and test the software for our complex machines – from drive and control technology to visualization and interfaces to higher-level systems • In our small, interdisciplinary team, you actively shape the further development of our machine software, take direct influence on the mechanical and electrical design and develop customer-specific solutions from concept to documentation • Good knowledge of PLC programming allows you to reliably implement and further develop demanding functions • The independent and timely provision of the machine software – and partly also the associated hardware – is part of your area of responsibility, as is the implementation of customer-specific adaptations including complete documentation • You are a technical contact person, process service requests and support our assembly department, both internally and externally, during commissioning and complex conversions Your profile • You have successfully completed technical training and further education in the field of electrical engineering, automation, systems technology or mechatronics (HF/FH) • Ideally, you bring experience in the programming of B&R systems • You approach your tasks analytically, logically and goal-oriented • You enjoy using your good English skills in everyday work • You are happy to devote approx. 10 % of your working time to traveling abroad Our offer to you • Responsible and versatile tasks in a small, dynamic team • Flexible working hours and the possibility to work occasionally from a home office • A modern workplace with cafeteria, sun terrace and nearby sports facilities
