YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Transfer of engineering bills of materials into assembly- and production-ready bills of materials
• Ensuring data quality and continuous maintenance of production-relevant master and planning data
• Creation, maintenance, and updating of assembly processes, work plans, and production orders
• Ensuring the timeliness and quality of production planning in close coordination with the Production Manager
• Control, monitoring, and coordination of technical changes along the change process, especially regarding Engineering Changes and obsolescence issues
• Active participation in shopfloor management as well as identification and implementation of improvement measures to optimize production processes
• Responsibility and support for the interfaces between Engineering, Arbeitsvorbereitung, Production, Purchasing, and Logistics
• Responsibility for the further development and optimization of the Arbeitsvorbereitung, taking efficient processes and standards into account
• Support for production in the analysis and rectification of material shortages as well as in missing parts management

YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Several years of professional experience in Arbeitsvorbereitung, ideally in electrical engineering, signal technology, or the rail vehicle industry
• Further training as a Prozessfachmann/Prozessfachfrau (HF) or similar training
• Sound knowledge in the transfer of engineering bills of materials into production and assembly bills of materials
• Very good user knowledge in PLM and ERP systems, preferably Teamcenter and SAP S/4 HANA
• In-depth knowledge in SAP S/4HANA - PP/PEO
• Strong end-to-end process understanding along the value chain in Arbeitsvorbereitung and production
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as a structured, precise, and solution-oriented way of working
• High level of initiative as well as a strong hands-on mentality with a strong focus on implementation
• Confident and target-group-oriented communication skills as well as the ability to convey complex issues understandably and fact-based
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland
