Start of position: 01.02.2027 Work location: Gampelen The Justizvollzugsanstalt Witzwil executes sentences and measures for 184 adult men in open prison service as well as in administrative detention under foreign law. The inmates are guided and supported in various professions in agriculture, trade, and services according to work-agogic principles. In the prison service, around 140 employees work consistently towards the goal of socialization and reduction of recidivism of the prisoners. Production goals and execution goals do not compete, but rather complement each other. Your tasks <br /> • You are responsible for the leadership, care, and social work of up to 10 inmates. • You supervise and promote the admitted persons according to the principles of social work and work-agogics. • You are responsible for the law-compliant implementation of the external work program and the execution of sentences in open execution. • Demanding organizational and administrative tasks are as much part of your versatile field of activity as the creation of execution plans, social service tasks, and the responsibility for an orderly and structured residential group operation. • You value interdisciplinary cooperation and actively contribute to efficient and humanly respectful cooperation. • You fulfill your tasks with a high degree of independence; to ensure the quality of the execution level external work program, you orient yourself according to the guidelines of the Interessensgemeinschaft Aussenorientierter Vollzug (IGAplus). • You accompany and lead the admitted persons in an efficient transition management. • You are, among other things, in direct contact with external employers. • You act according to the guiding principles of the JVA Witzwil. • The management of the external work program requires day, late, and weekend shifts. <br /> Your profile <br /> • You have completed training as a social worker (FH/HFS/HSA) or higher education in the pedagogical, social, or related field at tertiary level and ideally bring professional experience in prison service. • Working with inmates, also from other cultural backgrounds, is a challenge and an incentive for you at the same time. • As a resilient, stable, and capable of criticism personality, you keep a cool head even in delicate situations. • You enjoy working independently and are interested and open to new things. • You are able to write reports in German and regularly apply your good oral French skills. <br /> We offer you A challenging and exciting task awaits you in one of the largest agricultural businesses in Switzerland.
