Accompany, at night, children temporarily welcomed outside their family environment, prioritizing respect, listening, and socialization. Ensure their safety and well-being by providing care adapted to their needs. Ensure the continuity and emotional security of babies and young children at night, in particular by giving them the necessary bottles and comforting them. Be available during nighttime wake-ups, sleep difficulties, and early wake-ups. Activity rate: 70% Type of contract: CDM Hiring date: from September 1st to December 31st, 2026 Class: 10 according to the salary scale of the State of Geneva. Application deadline: July 24th, 2026. Linked by a service contract with the State of Geneva, the FOJ is part of the protection and defense of the child's interests. At the service of families in the canton, it works through four main fields of action: child aid, emergency reception, family support, and preparation for autonomy. To fulfill its mission, the institution manages 47 structures throughout the Canton of Geneva and has 500 reception places for minors and young adults and offers educational services at home. To carry out its mission, the FOJ is looking for L'Odyssée, an emergency shelter for young children, from birth to the age of 5, a socio-educational assistant for its night team.
