Caregiver for People with Disabilities in Old Age (60 - 100%)

Stöckli is a residential group in the therapeutic living and residential community Wydehöfli and offers five people with mental and/or multiple disabilities, who need a quieter and more manageable form of living due to their individual needs, a permanent home. The focus is on people who need more intensive, individually adapted support and care in old age or due to complex disabilities.

Our goal is to create a living space that combines security, orientation, self-determination, and quality of life. An interdisciplinary team of specialists from social pedagogy, care, and nursing accompanies the residents with a person-centered and resource-oriented approach.

To strengthen the team, Stöckli is looking for a committed social pedagogue (FH, HF) / care specialist (FaBe) or nursing specialist (FH, HF / FaGe) 60 - 100% immediately or by agreement.

Your tasks

• Care and support for residents
• Support with nursing care
• Collaboration in the interdisciplinary team with specialists from various fields
• Participation in the further development of our care concepts
• Preservation of existing skills and the greatest possible independence
• Design of a structured, low-stimulation and at the same time individually adapted daily life
• Planning and support of leisure and employment offers
• Support with everyday tasks and promotion of participation in daily life
• Contribution of individual skills
• Maintenance of relationships with clients and the team
• Taking over shift duties including night duty on site

Requirements

• Preferably completed training as a social pedagogue (FH, HF) / care specialist / nursing specialist (FH, HF / FaGe) or a comparable qualification
• You have experience in supporting people with support needs
• You enjoy appreciative support for older people and help them shape their daily lives as self-determined as possible
• You work well in a team and appreciate exchange with different specialists
• You are committed, open and meet people with appreciation
• You work independently, reliably and responsibly
