MPA / Clinical Assistant (w/m/d) for the cardiac surgery outpatient clinic 80-100%

Your main tasks

• Carrying out blood collection (venous) according to standard procedures
• Inserting peripheral venous catheters (PVK) including monitoring and documentation
• Performing clinical-medical activities (writing EKGs, removing pacemaker electrodes, removing chest drains)
• Carrying out daily examinations and documentation
• General care of the patients of the cardiac surgery outpatient clinic in close coordination with the medical staff
• Coordination of appointments (internal consultations, examinations)
• Collecting the anamnesis as well as status assessment upon admission, performing assessments
• Organization and planning of consultations, incl. patient flow, prioritization and documentation
• Secure handling of the clinic software KISIM (documentation, order entry, administration)
• Supporting the doctors during wound checks, incl. preparation of material, assistance and documentation
• Writing various reports
• Participating in process changes (adjustment of instructions, adjustment of guidelines, introduction of new processes)
• Reviewing and completing the information documents (e.g. information protocols, general consent)
• Technical and administrative support of the medical and non-medical staff of the cardiac surgery outpatient clinic
• Measures for health promotion and prevention
• Performing the coordination function in the interdisciplinary team

Your profile

• Completed training as Fachfrau Gesundheit / Fachmann Gesundheit EFZ or medizinische Praxisassistentin / medizinischer Praxisassistent EFZ
• Experience in the healthcare sector, advantageously in the same or a similar function
• Very good and stylistically confident German skills in spoken and written form, further foreign language skills are an advantage
• Good handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point)
• Empathetic communication with patients as well as their relatives
• Structured and reliable way of working with high self-discipline and initiative
• Ability to work in a team and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation
• High sense of responsibility and organizational talent, even in demanding situations
