General Accountant \- Public Sector For our client, a public administration in the Geneva region, we are looking for an experienced Accountant to strengthen its finance department. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will ensure the accounting and financial management of the structure and participate in the proper functioning of the administration's financial activities. Your main responsibilities will be as follows: \- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and litigation monitoring. \- Ensure the management of bank accounts, postal accounts, and various institutional accounts. \- Monitor investments and depreciation. \- Perform closing accounting operations, transitional entries, and necessary consolidations. \-Ensure the management and monitoring of the chart of accounts. \-Participate in budget preparation, budget monitoring, and variance analysis. \-Prepare the annual closing as well as financial reports. \-Ensure the monitoring of commitments, purchase orders, and internal validations. We are looking for a person with: \-A CFC as a commercial employee with a specialization in accounting; the Federal Diploma of specialist in finance and accounting is an asset. \-At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in Switzerland. \-Solid knowledge of accounting and public finance.
