Job description For our client, a major player in the distribution of mail and parcels, we are looking for an experienced mail carrier to ensure reliable, precise, and service-oriented daily distribution to both individuals and companies. As part of this role, you take charge of the complete preparation of your route prior to distribution. You proceed with the sorting of mail and parcels, verify their destination, organize your route in a logical and efficient manner, and then ensure delivery in compliance with defined deadlines and priorities. You ensure that shipments are handled with care and guarantee secure delivery, in accordance with the expected quality and reliability requirements. You are also responsible for the proper execution of your route in the field, adapting your organization to traffic conditions, weather constraints, and the specificities of the assigned sector. You use the means of transport provided in compliance with safety rules and internal instructions, while maintaining a sustained and constant work pace. Beyond distribution, you represent a genuine point of contact for customers. In this capacity, you adopt a courteous, discreet, and professional attitude in all circumstances. Profile sought You have proven experience as a mail carrier or in a similar function related to the distribution of mail and parcels. Ideally, you know the region as well as its surroundings, which allows you to optimize your travel and ensure a smooth and efficient route. You hold driving licenses A1 and B and are comfortable driving light vehicles as part of a distribution activity. Good physical condition is indispensable, as is the ability to work outdoors and maintain a constant level of performance regardless of weather conditions. You stand out through your reliability, your punctuality, and your keen sense of organization. You know how to manage your time, anticipate unforeseen events, and rigorously respect the instructions given to you.
