Study Program Coordinator: Health Sciences and Technology (m/w/d) # 80%-100%, Zürich, unbefristet #### print Drucken  The Department of Health Sciences and Technology (D-HEST) of the ETH Zürich is seeking to support and further develop the study program Health Sciences and Technology (HST) as of December 1, 2026, or by mutual agreement, an engaged and experienced personality as a study program coordinator HST. The position is being newly filled due to retirement. The HST study program combines health science, natural science, and technological perspectives. In this central function, you will coordinate the study program at the bachelor's and master's levels, advise students and lecturers, and contribute to quality assurance and the further development of teaching.  Job description ## As a study program coordinator HST, you will assume a key role at the interface between students, lecturers, study direction, study administration, academic services, and department. Your main tasks include: • Coordination and further development of the HST study program at the bachelor's and master's levels, including planning and implementation of content-related reforms • Support for the study direction in curricular, regulatory, and strategic issues, coordination of the range of courses and financial planning • Management of the teaching commission, including preparation, minutes, and follow-up of decisions • Advising students in individual and sometimes complex study situations (around 300 students start each year, with a total of around 1,200) • Advising lecturers on study program-related questions, particularly regarding the range of courses, examination forms, tutorials, and administrative processes • Coordination of information and introductory events for prospective students, bachelor's, master's, and exchange students • Processing of study program-related inquiries and requests, particularly regarding study planning, subject recognition, grade conferences, and master's admission • HST-specific mobility advice for outgoing and incoming students • Analysis and preparation of key figures in the teaching area as well as participation in reporting and quality assurance • Representation of the study program in relevant ETH bodies, projects, and networks in the area of teaching • assumption of teaching responsibility in the HST study program, particularly in the area of the introductory lecture in the HST study program Profile ## We are looking for a communicative, solution-oriented, and very well-organized person who enjoys actively helping to shape an interdisciplinary study program in a demanding academic environment. You have: • A university degree in a field relevant to Health Sciences and Technology • Experience in a university environment, ideally in teaching coordination, study advice, or a comparable function • A good understanding of academic structures and processes in the area of teaching • Very good German and English language skills in word and writing • Pronounced communication skills and enjoyment of working with different stakeholder groups • A structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to work • High service orientation with a clear understanding of roles • Very good organizational skills, reliability, and initiative • Resilience, discretion, and confident demeanor, even in demanding advisory situations A doctorate, teaching experience, and didactic training are advantageous but not required.
