The Medical Directorate is looking for, within its various departments (childhood and adolescence, adult, advanced age) for its hospital and outpatient units, several:

Chief Physician/Assistant Chief Physician 80 - 100 %

You hold a Swiss diploma or one recognized by MEBEKO. You have obtained the FMH title in psychiatry-psychotherapy (or at minimum the 1st part in the process of being obtained), and wish to join a recognized institution specialized in mental health.

As part of your function you will be required to:

• develop a direct and continuous clinical practice with patients, in close collaboration with other members of the unit
• supervise the daily work of the multidisciplinary team and more particularly that of the assistant doctors
• promote inter-institutional collaboration
• participate in the outpatient on-call service, in 1st or 2nd line depending on the absence or presence of the FMH title
• participate in the teaching provided by the unit
• supervise the drafting of reports required by insurance organizations, by the tutelary and judicial authorities and the drafting of any other medical report

The required skills for this position are as follows:

• possess at least 2 years of activity in hospital and/or outpatient psychiatry
• have an interdisciplinary way of working in a team and in a network
• demonstrate leadership and have a sense of planning
• be able to make decisions

Start date: immediately or to be agreed
Workplace: Canton de Neuchâtel – (Marin-Epagnier, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Neuchâtel)
Contract type: Indefinite period contract
